About Ellerra
On a warm summer’s night in Italy, two Americans overheard each other speaking English amid the sea of Italian voices. Upon striking up a conversation, the two learned that both had been drawn to Italy for work, both had Italian heritage, and both shared an intense passion for business and entrepreneurship. As the conversation wandered out of Ristorante La Mina, down Via Ellero, and across Turin, a friendship was born between Stephen Torres and Stephen Vincent Grassi (SVG). They maintained their friendship over the years and the distance until fate brought them back together to start Ellerra, an accounting and consulting firm whose name pays homage to the street in Turin, Italy, where Stephen and SVG first met.

Stephen D. Torres
Co-Founder & CEO
Stephen has extensive experience working with startup founders and high-growth business executives for nearly two decades. He has worked in consumer products, SaaS, renewable energy, education, entertainment, and finance. Stephen has a BA from UC Berkeley, an MBA from Cornell, an MS from Stanford, and is a current Ed.M Candidate at Harvard.
